Historians are criticizing the role of Gona Ganna Reddy which is played by Allu Arjun in the movie. Gunasekhar highlighted him in the movie and he has stolen the show. According to the history, Rudhramadevi ruled on the Kakatiya dynasty for the period of 30 years from 1261 to 1290 AD without any support of her husband Chalukya Veerabadrudu or Gona Ganna Reddy but Gunasekhar showed Rudhramadevi as a helpless woman most of the times in the movie and she lends the support of Gona Ganna Reddy which is not a reality.
